Reader Draws on Some New Resources for Her Art Paper

Dorothy Scott of Santa Paula wants to get hold of some paper for quill art ; her former supplier has evidently gone out of business. Can you help with a reliable source Scott can draw on, or will she have to feather her nest one (goose) step as a time?

Lolly Kidd of La Crescenta is in the market for some plain shade screen by the foot --the type that is silver on one side, black on the other and has tiny holes all over it. Can you do something about the shady side of Kidd’s cool life, or will she always be kept in the dark concerning the brighter side of things?

For her son’s easel, Victoria Schorr of Marina del Rey needs to find some non-waxed butcher paper (art paper) in 12-inch-wide rolls. Can you ease(l) the burden on Schorr, or will she not be able to roll with the punch until she waxes more desperate?

Alice Kellett of Los Angeles says she bought a gorgeous redwood nutcracker bowl at a gift shop in Muir Woods a few years ago. And a number of readers said they had such bowls. We now have a local source for Daniel Green slippers for Anna Carlton. Naomi Kodish of Torrance says they are available at all May Co. stores.
