Remains of Woman Found Near Lake Henshaw
Homicide detectives are investigating the discovery on Sunday of a woman’s skeletal remains near Lake Henshaw, a sheriff’s department spokeswoman reported.
A human arm was found by a survey crew near South Grade Road, about half a mile north of Highway 76, said Charlotte Flowers.
A search and rescue unit later discovered additional remains about 50 yards from the roadway, she said.
Authorities have not identified the woman, and no cause of death has been determined.
