Actress Eileen Brennan is listed in fair condition in a Kansas City Hospital after falling from the stage into the orchestra pit during a rehearsal for “Annie.” Brennan, 54, bumped her head and broke her left leg. She was to play the orphanage’s headmistress in the stage musical, but was replaced by a member of the Starlight Theatre resident company. Brennan was nearly killed in 1982 when she was hit by a car in Venice, Calif., suffering two broken legs, a skull fracture and other severe injuries.
