Return to the Booth by Reagan Produces Divided Constituency
If anyone has struck out, it certainly was Larry Stewart and his assessment of former President Reagan’s inning of TV commentary at the All-Star game.
If Stewart thinks the job of television commentator is something that ought to come easy for Mr. Reagan, let me assure him that eight years in the Presidency did nothing but increase the President’s careful, deliberate and guarded commentary.
I thought Mr. Reagan did an admirable job, and it was certainly a reason for me to tune in the game.
