Fans Vote for the Stars, Not the Mere Meteorites
The fans will clean up their All-Star game selections when the Veterans Committee and baseball writers clean up the Hall of Fame.
Personally, I would rather have a retired Mike Schmidt at third base in the 1989 All-Star game than start John Evers at second base on some mythical “dream team.”
