It is indeed appropriate for the Supreme Court justices, while thoroughly trashing the Constitution in their decisions on abortion and civil rights, to then allow me to finish the job by burning the flag.
With the rising influence of bigots who accept no morality but their own, those of us who care about individual freedom may have to go to another country to find it. Will the last American please turn out the lights?
