Accident Injuries Fatal to Woman, 69

A 69-year-old San Diego woman died Wednesday of injuries suffered in a car accident, authorities said.
The victim was identified as Riwu Oyama, who was declared dead at 3:25 p.m. at Sharp Memorial Hospital, a coroner’s spokesman said.
Oyama was driving south on Boyd Avenue in San Diego at 2:30 p.m., the spokesman said, when the vehicle veered into the northbound lanes for unknown reasons and collided with an oncoming car.
The driver of the other vehicle escaped with minor injuries, the spokesman said.
