SAN FRANCISCO —
Parking rates are going up this fall at Candlestick Park.
The Super Bowl champion San Francisco 49ers got most of what they wanted Thursday from the city’s Recreation and Park Commission.
The commission raised parking fees from $5 to $7 for most cars. The team wanted $8. The commission also established a new category of reserved parking at $12 per space. The 49ers will take prepaid reservations for 4,000 of the lot’s 7,800 spaces. Fees for recreational vehicles will go from $15 to $25.
