Viejo Bancorp, the holding company for Mission Viejo National Bank, reported net income of $695,000 for the second quarter, 76% higher than the $396,000 posted for the year-earlier period. For the first half of the year, net income rose 75% to $1.2 million from $712,000 for the comparable six months of 1988. Assets totaled $108 million, up 43% from the $75.8 million recorded for the first half last year.
