I cannot believe Ralph Allman (July 15 Viewpoint) watched the same All-Star telecast as the rest of us.

The difference between Ronald Reagan’s All-Star “performance” and his eight years in office was that at the game he had to find his own words and descriptions. He didn’t have writers.
