Bernie Kosar’s contract extension with the Cleveland Browns will pay him $15 million over six years, making him one of the highest-paid players in the National Football League, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.
Because much of the $3-million signing bonus is spread over the first two years, Kosar, in 1990, could surpass quarterback Joe Montana of the San Francisco 49ers as the highest-paid player.
