City Plans to Conduct Low-Cost Rabies Clinic

A low-cost rabies clinic for dogs will be held Aug. 10 at the animal care shelter, 15129 Sand Canyon Road.

The clinic, sponsored by the City of Irvine and the Southern California Veterinary Medical Assn., will be conducted from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The cost is $3.

The vaccinations will be given by Gail Roberts, a veterinarian with the Northwood Pet Clinic. All dogs should be leashed.

City, county and state laws require all dogs 4 months of age and older to be vaccinated against rabies.
