KCBS Channel 2 plans to devote three-hours of its schedule next Thursday night to a discussion of racism when it broadcasts another of its “town meetings” that bring together experts and concerned citizens for a live debate. Jim Lampley will host “Racism: What Is the Right Thing,” beginning at 8 p.m. from Cal State L.A. The panel of experts will include former tennis great Arthur Ashe; Prof. Harry Edwards; former state Supreme Court Justice Cruz Reynoso and many others. Channel 2 will kick off the evening at 7 p.m. with an hourlong documentary “Racism: Screams of Hatred, Tears of Despair.”
