Dataproducts Corp., a Woodland Hills-based maker of computer printers, postponed its annual meeting from Thursday to Sept. 14 in order to consider options for “maximizing shareholder value.”

On Aug. 3, a New York investor group with an 8% stake in Dataproducts offered $273 million for the rest of the company. The group, DPC Acquisition Partners, also made two alternative offers to acquire parts of the company.

Dataproducts then announced plans to sell its 21.5-acre headquarters property for $63 million. The New York investors said earlier that if they were successful in buying Dataproducts, they had planned to sell the property for $57 million.
