Transient Killed in Fall in Park
A man believed to be a transient slipped and fell about 150 feet to his death in Griffith Park, Los Angeles police said.
A jogger found the unidentified man at 6:20 a.m. Monday and alerted park rangers, Detective Sam Catalfamo said. Catalfamo said broken plants indicate that the man fell from a path.
Investigators believe the man is one of 30 to 40 transients living in the park.
