The Carmelite Nuns at Auschwitz
The article by Metzger was a relief. Her philosophy is beautiful and sane in these insane times.
The Jewish leaders who are making such an ugly scene about the nuns at Auschwitz should be concentrating on a beautiful place of prayer and meditation for the Jewish people who want to visit this place of sorrow. It is not just a war museum.
This place is not just Jewish, it belongs as a place of mourning for all people and as a warning to mankind that this could happen again and is happening now around the world. A place for prayer is needed, for all the survivors of all faiths.
