SIDELINES : 3 Argentines in Tennis Semifinals
Fourth-seeded Guillermo Perez-Roldan led three Argentines into the semifinals of the Geneva Open tennis tournament today with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Juan Aguilera of Spain.
Francisco Yunis of Argentina defeated fellow qualifier Sergio Cortes of Chile 6-2, 1-6, 6-3, while Eduardo Bengoechea defeated Lars Jonsson of Sweden, 6-3, 6-2.
In the last quarterfinal, Marc Rosset of Switzerland defeated Xavier Daufresne of Belgium, 6-1, 6-2
Perez, 1988 Italian Open finalist who is currently ranked 37th, will play Yunis in the semifinals, while Bengoechea plays Rosset.
