Hacienda Heights : Disaster Aid Available
People whose homes and property were ruined by the July 3 brush fire in Hacienda Heights may get further information about obtaining government assistance in repairing the damage at a drop-in counseling session today.
Disaster loan counselors from the U.S. Small Business Administration will hand out financial aid applications and answer questions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Room 10 of the Instructional Services Center, 15444 Regalado Street, Hacienda Heights.
The SBA recently declared the 1,500 acres charred by the blaze a disaster area, making the victims eligible for low-interest loans. For information, call the SBA’s disaster hot line, (800) 468-1713.
