Why has “Days of Our Lives” turned...

Why has “Days of Our Lives” turned into a regular booby hatch? The writers/directors of the show make every character a psycho case. The unbelievable, stupid actions make even the good, old-time characters appear ridiculous. This used to be my favorite show, but I have stopped watching it because it’s so impossible.
