American Wine & Food Festival Scheduled Saturday at Universal Studios ‘Western’ Set

The Seventh Annual American Wine & Food Festival will be held Saturday at Universal Studios “Western” set. The reception is at 6 p.m. The Event will benefit the Los Angeles Chapters of Meals on Wheels.

The festival, organized by Wolfgang Puck Charitable Foundation, has raised nearly $600,000 for the Meals on Wheels programs since its 1983 inception. Wolfgang Puck and Vincent Price will head the cast of chefs and winemakers.

Primary sponsors are The House of Seagram, The Seagram Classics Wine Co., Beef Specialists of Iowa and Los Angeles magazine. Secondary sponsors are Avery Services Corp., Finlandia Vodka, Rykoff-Sexton, Piper Sonoma Cellars, Universal City Studios Rental Division Group, American Express Travel Related Services Co. Inc., Mansour Travel Co., Westwood Marquis Hotel & Gardens and Home Express enabling all proceeds from the event to benefit senior meal programs throughout the city.
