Tara Cross, an outside hitter on the Cal State Long Beach women’s volleyball team, became the NCAA’s all-time career kill leader in a match against UC Irvine.
She had 19 kills, and now has 2,195. The former record was 2,188, set in 1988 by Brigham Young’s Dylann Duncan.
