San Diego
A gardener discovered the body of a woman in Balboa Park Friday, a San Diego Police Department spokesman said.
The unidentified woman, in her mid-20s, was found near Florida Drive and Upas Street, spokesman Bill Robinson said. He said she had a hypodermic syringe and car keys in her back pocket.
Deputy Coroner Robert Engel said the cause of death appears to be a drug overdose but that autopsy results won’t be known for about a week.
