Mike Pringle, the Cal State Fullerton running back who leads the nation in all-purpose running, will try for his fifth consecutive 100-yard rushing game today at noon against Utah State in a Big West Conference game in Logan, Utah.

Utah State is winless after four games, including losses to USC and Illinois.

Fullerton has regrouped after winning one of its first three games, the only victory over Division II Cal State Northridge. In the past two games, a tie against San Diego State and a victory over Nevada Las Vegas, the Titans have scored 75 points, improving their record to 2-2-1.

Fullerton quarterback Dan Speltz, who threw nine interceptions in the first three games, has not thrown any in the last two.
