Mark McCumber and Paul Azinger will defend the World Cup golf championship for the United States in Spain next month.

Organizers said today that 32 nations will enter two-player teams in the $1-million tournament, scheduled for the Club de Golf Las Brisas in Marbella, Spain, Nov. 16 through 19.

The United States has won the cup 17 times, including 1973, the last time the tournament was held at Las Brisas. McCumber and Ben Crenshaw won the World Cup for the United States last December in Australia.
