Cleveland Loses Bryant for 3 Weeks
Pat Bryant, Cleveland’s leading rusher, broke his hand in a 6-0 loss to San Fernando on Friday and will be out for three to four weeks, according to Coach Steve Landress.
Bryant has rushed for 244 yards and one touchdown in 63 carries and caught five passes for 63 yards and a touchdown for the Cavaliers (2-2, 1-1 in Northwest Valley Conference play).
Landress said that Bryant will be replaced by Vince Johnson and Carl Marshal. Johnson has rushed for 63 yards in 19 carries.
