Former Olympic boxers Michael Carbajal and Ray Mercer kept their undefeated professional records intact with knockouts at Phoenix.
Mercer, a gold medalist as a heavyweight at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, scored a TKO of Eddie Richardson at 2:16 of the first round. Carbajal, who won a silver medal as a light flyweight at Seoul, stopped Jose Manuel Diaz at 1:38 of the third round.
