Reseda Man Found Shot Near Home
A 27-year-old man was in critical condition Sunday after he was shot while walking in the 19000 block of Ingomar Street in Reseda, police said.
Javier Medina, who lives nearby, was found lying in the street about 6 p.m. after authorities were alerted by residents in the area, said Lt. Winthrop Taylor of the Los Angeles Police Department. He had been shot at least once, and was hit in the spine, apparently with a small-caliber bullet, Taylor said.
Medina was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
Police had no suspects in the shooting. They were continuing their investigation.
