SPOTLIGHT / A GLANCE AT THIS WEEK IN THE NFL
IN QUOTES
Former Dallas quarterback Steve Pelluer, acquired earlier this week by Kansas City, on scoring on a five-yard run against his former team: “It was fun to be able to score. Playing against my team, I think gave me mixed emotions. I was still pulling for the guys that I know, but I still wanted to win very badly.”
Denver kicker David Treadwell, who missed a 27-yard field goal with 16 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime but later made the game-winner from 27 yards: “I’m very relieved and very thankful my teammates stayed behind me and gave me another opportunity. I felt like I let everyone down after the miss. I still don’t know what happened.”
