Accident in Nevada Kills Glendale Man
A Glendale man was killed and an Encino man injured in an accident on Interstate 15 near Jean, Nev., southwest of Las Vegas.
Authorities identified the dead man as David Gabler, 25, and the injured man as Michael Gross, 25.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said Gross was driving a convertible north on I-15 Sunday morning, with Gabler as a passenger, when Gross swerved to avoid another auto changing lanes. The convertible went into the freeway median and overturned.
A helicopter took Gross to Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, where he was in stable condition Monday with a fractured wrist, officials said.
