North Hollywood 35, Monroe 29--Running back Richard Cisneros scored from one yard with 1:15 left at North Hollywood to give the Huskies (1-6, 1-3) their first win. Leon Gable rushed for 197 yards in 23 carries and scored North Hollywood’s first three touchdowns.

Trailing, 29-21, Monroe tied the score midway in the fourth quarter when quarterback Jesse Wallace scored on a two-yard keeper--his second touchdown of the game--then connected with Gerrit Maxwell on a conversion pass. Wallace completed nine of 19 passes for 151 yards, including a 50-yard scoring pass to Maxwell midway through the second quarter.
