Prime Ticket to Move to Century City Site

Prime Ticket Network, a regional cable sports network, has signed a $3.18-million, 5-year lease on the entire 20,000-square-foot ground floor of the five-story building at 1000 Santa Monica Blvd.

The network, presently located at 401 S. Prarie Ave., in Inglewood, will move its headquarters and studio to the Century City site.

Prime Ticket will spend $5 million to convert the interior to executive offices, a video control room and editing facilities. The cable network broadcasts Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings games, and UCLA and USC football games, as well as other types of sporting events.

Andrew Gerhard of Gerhard Interiors Ltd. will design the interior. Jon Douglas Co.’s commercial brokerage division represented the building. John Severino, Prime Ticket’s president and CEO,s said the lease includes two five-year renewal options. Denver entrepreneur Bill Daniels is majority owner of Prime Ticket. Other owners are Jerry Buss, owner of the Lakers, and Prime Time Executive Tony Acone.
