Arthur Andersen Names Head of Western Operation

A. B. (Dick) Poladian has been named managing partner of Arthur Andersen & Co.’s Southern California operations, replacing Sheldon I. Ausman, who retired last month.
Poladian, 37, will manage Andersen’s offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Las Vegas and Honolulu.
Poladian joined the accounting firm in 1974 and has been a partner in Andersen’s tax division for the last five years.
Separately, Andersen Consulting, the accounting firm’s sister company, named Barry Patmore managing partner of Southern California operations.
