Former NFL and Ohio State quarterback Art Schlichter pleaded innocent in a Circleville, Ohio, court today to a bad check charge. Schlichter, 29, was charged with cashing a $150 bad check at a South Bloomfield service station Sept. 7. Schlichter, who starred at Ohio State from 1978 to 1981, also played with the Baltimore Colts. He was suspended twice from the NFL for illegal gambling.
