The following are Orange County ballot initiatives for the Nov. 7 election. Only Measure M is a countywide initiative, the others will only appear on ballots in the specific city the measure affects.

MEASURE M, COUNTYWIDE

Should the county sales tax be increased by 1/2 a cent to fund transportation improvements throughout the county?

MEASURE N, CITY OF IRVINE

Should the Human Rights Ordinance be amended by deleting “sexual orientation” from the following: “ . . . forbids discrimination by reason of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status and physical handicap”?

Should Laguna Niguel (the area bounded by Laguna Hills to the north, Dana Point to the south, San Juan Capistrano and Mission Viejo to the east, and Laguna Beach and Aliso Viejo to the west) become a city?
