Koch Keeps Talking: New York Mayor Edward I. Koch’s tongue will runneth over once he leaves office at the end of the year. Already signed to do a morning spot on a New York radio station, lecture on urban affairs at New York University and undertake a national speaking tour, hizzoner now has signed with New York’s WCBS-TV to be a daily commentator on the station’s 5 p.m. newscast and to co-host a Sunday-morning public-affairs program. Roger Coloff, WCBS’ president, noted that “throughout his career, Ed Koch has never been at a loss for words. In this new role . . . he will continue to speak out about issues of interest to our viewers.” Koch is slated to make his debut the week of Jan. 8, one week after newly elected Mayor David N. Dinkins takes office.
