Hazardous Waste ‘Roundup’ Slated for Households
The Los Angeles Department of Public Works will sponsor its last “household hazardous waste roundup” of the year next Saturday at the refuse collection yard, 9701 San Fernando Road, Sun Valley.
Los Angeles residents can dispose of paint, motor oil, pesticides and other unwanted hazardous materials free of charge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The waste should be transported in a cardboard box, and should be kept away from passengers during the ride to the yard.
No business waste will be accepted.
