Football Games and Legal Maneuverings
Concerning all this eligibility and disqualification between the CIF and Orange County football teams. (Nov. 16) Let’s set aside all the disappointments and high emotions involved.
The facts are, if the rules violated are agreed upon between the CIF and the school, the offending team is disqualified. Period.
All this lawyer and courtroom activity is absolutely ridiculous. Next we will witness a referee or umpire making a decision that determines the outcome of a game, and within a day the losers will be in court asking the judge to overturn that decision.
