Measure M and the North County
If the barrage of junk mail, telephone solicitations and door-to-door pamphlet littering failed to “educate” the public (on Proposition M), what will? The problem wasn’t education, but the growing mistrust of taxpayers who are weary of the same rhetoric from politicians in the pockets of developers and builders.
Freeway commuters have seen no improvements at all from the millions of dollars already squandered, so why cough up more?
