COMMERCIAL SCENE : Copperfield Buys Parking Structure

Copperfield Investment & Development Co. bought a 105,000-square-foot office building and parking structure at Robertson Boulevard and the Santa Monica Freeway in West Los Angeles for $11.7 million.
Seller Coast Savings Financial Inc. acquired the property in a settlement with the developer, who fell short of the cash needed to make good on its loan. The building is more than 75% vacant.
Representing the seller was Bill Puget of Cushman Realty, while David Thind of Thind Commercial Brokerage Corp. represented Copperfield.
