Michigan tailback Tony Boles, who led the Wolverines with 1,345 all-purpose yards, will require major reconstructive surgery on his knee and will miss the Rose Bowl game.
This season, Boles had amassed 839 yards rushing, 224 yards receiving and 282 yards on kickoff returns. He scored nine touchdowns, including one on a 91-yard run against Indiana.
