HITTING THE SLOPES: As winter approaches, sportswear buyers say that neon flashes of pink, green, orange and purple will be hot this year on the slopes. . . . But, says Barbara Hochberg of Sportmart Inc. in Chicago, “If I were buying ski wear for next year, would I bank on neon? No, but it’s going to be strong this season and for spring ’90.” . . . Orange County is not just full of beachcombers: People here are 63% more likely to ski frequently than the average U.S. resident.
