Long Beach : Children to Help Decorate Civic Center Christmas Tree
The Civic Center Christmas tree will be decorated Dec. 14 and 15 when Long Beach schoolchildren hang their hand-made ornaments on the 14-foot fir tree, donated by Douglas Aircraft Co. Members of two barbershop quartets will sing carols each day at noon. The tree will be erected in the lobby of the Civic Center.
