Community Sing for Holidays Scheduled

The city will hold its 22nd annual Community Sing today at 7 p.m. at the Cypress Recreation and Park District office at 5700 Orange Ave.

The event will feature special appearances by the Cypress High School Choir, the Lexington Junior High School Choir and--of course--Santa Claus.

The city is also sponsoring a “Christmas Around the World” holiday camp, for children ages 5 to 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 18 through 22.

For a fee of $40, children will be treated to a week of crafts, games and songs.
