A Knox Elementary School teacher pleaded not guilty Monday to 32 felony counts of child molestation allegedly involving two former students, now 12.
Ernest (Booker) Brown, 47, who lives near the Southeast San Diego School, was ordered held in County Jail on $600,000 bail.
“There are other victims, but we’re still investigating,” Deputy Dist. Atty. Aaron Katz said afterward.
San Diego Municipal Judge Timothy Tower ordered a bail review for Thursday and a preliminary hearing for Dec. 15.
Brown was arrested Nov. 30 at the school, where he had taught fourth and fifth grade since 1986.
