CERRITOS-GAHR TOURNAMENT

Antelope Valley 67, Cerritos 64--Senior forward Chris Walters scored 35 points to lead the Antelopes to their fourth consecutive win in the championship game.

Walters, who scored more than 30 points in three games, was selected the tournament’s most valuable player. Antelope Valley (5-2), which rallied from a 21-12 first-quarter deficit, took the lead for good with three minutes to play on a three-point basket by reserve guard Bobby Paiz. The basket marked Paiz’s only points of the game.

SAN LUIS OBISPO TOURNAMENT

Crespi 83, Coast Union 52--Crespi (3-3) snapped a two-game losing streak to claim seventh place.

Senior center Ryan Nordyke and junior forward Don Cassano each scored 10 points to lead the Celts, who never trailed. Senior guard Matt Luderer scored seven points and had 10 assists.

BUCKLEY TOURNAMENT

Buckley 66, Oakwood 50--Bird Burdette scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and Brett Wallette scored 23 points and had 13 rebounds to lead Buckley in the championship game.

Rod Sailes scored 15 points and had 10 rebounds for Buckley (4-1), and was named most valuable player of the tournament. John Goldsmith led Oakwood with 22 points.

BORON TOURNAMENT

Paraclete 52, Silver Valley 50--Jose Perez hit two free throws with 10 seconds remaining to give Paraclete the consolation championship. Center Shawn Preasmyer scored 10 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked five shots for the Spirits (2-2).

Eddie Abueg scored a team-high 13 points for Paraclete.

BOYS’ NONLEAGUE

Glendale 69, Downey 59--Brent Overfelt, who lost his starting job because of a shooting slump, scored 25 points as the sixth man to lead host Glendale (3-3).

Center Jason Harper scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Glendale.

CABRILLO GIRLS’ TOURNAMENT

Bell-Jeff 55, Western Christian 37--Guard Judy Daza scored a game-high 15 points and handed out seven assists to lead Bell-Jeff to the consolation championship.

Ingrid Ochoa added nine points and 14 rebounds and Julie Cusumano scored 13 for Bell-Jeff (3-2).
