Xavier McDaniel of the Seattle SuperSonics and Charles Oakley of the New York Knicks were each suspended for one game and fined $7,500 by the NBA for their fight last week at Madison Square Garden.
In addition, 13 players on the Knicks and SuperSonics received automatic $500 fines for leaving their benches during the brawl.
McDaniel and Oakley got into a pushing match that escalated into a fight with 5:22 left in Saturday night’s game.
