Jesse Orosco and the Cleveland Indians agreed to add an option year for 1992 worth a potential $1.075 million to the pitcher’s contract, which is guaranteed through the 1991 season. Orosco was 3-4 in 1989 with three saves and a team-leading 2.08 ERA.
