Robert F. Scoular has been named to head the new Los Angeles office of the law firm Sonnenschein Carlin Nath & Rosenthal, which has headquarters in Chicago. Scoular previously was a partner in the Los Angeles office of St. Louis-based Bryan, Cave, McPheeters & McRoberts. Ernest B. Burger and Martin J. Foley join Scoular as partners in the new office.
