Longshot Wins Louisiana Futurity

High Hope’s Lyre, a 67-1 shot, rallied from eighth, found an opening entering the stretch and won by a nose in Wednesday’s $74,570 Louisiana Futurity colt and gelding division at the Fair Grounds. High Hope’s Lyre sprinted the six furlongs in 1:13 4/5 and paid $136, $20 and $7.
