Alternative Rose Parade Commentary: KLSX-FM (97.1) radio personality Frazer Smith will once again provide some irreverent coverage of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade this year. Smith tells his listeners to turn down the volume on their television sets and then provides his own interpretation of the New Year’s Day parade. Comedian Peter Crabbe is expected to join Smith, and the two will provide commentary as, among other characters, the Party Vikings Leif and Sven. Smith’s alternative coverage of the Tournament of Roses Parade began 12 years ago on KROQ-FM. The parade coverage will begin New Year’s Day at 8:30 a.m.
